The Brief & Our Solution
We were commissioned to design and build a large-scale decorative cake installation to serve as the centrepiece for a prestigious evening event. The client requested a bold and elegant structure that would create an immediate visual impact and enhance the atmosphere of celebration.
Our creative team approached the project as both a technical and artistic challenge — combining stage design principles with sculptural craftsmanship to achieve a balance between grandeur, realism, and stability.
Our Approach
Design & Concept Development
The structure was inspired by the form of a multi-tiered celebration cake, symbolising festivity and joy. Each tier was proportioned and detailed to create a visually harmonious composition, enhanced by subtle lighting accents and reflective materials.
Fabrication & Detailing
Built using lightweight yet durable materials, the installation was engineered for easy transport and rapid on-site assembly. The smooth, glossy surfaces and decorative ornaments were hand-finished to achieve a polished, high-quality appearance suitable for a premium event environment.
Lighting & Presentation
To amplify its presence at night, integrated lighting elements were added to highlight contours and textures, creating a dynamic visual effect that complemented the architectural surroundings of the venue.

The final piece became the focal point of the event — a striking, playful, and sophisticated installation that captured attention and inspired countless photographs.
