The Brief & Our Solution
We were commissioned to produce a large-format illuminated display panel that visually communicates international connectivity. The concept centred around a stylised map with a central hub radiating influence to key global regions.
Our goal was to deliver a lightbox solution that combines visual clarity, geographic storytelling, and ambient lighting—suitable for reception areas, exhibition zones, or corporate lobbies.
Our solution involved:
- Backlit Map Design: A stylised map of Europe, Asia, and Africa was printed on translucent material and mounted over a custom LED panel. The central region was highlighted in red, with directional lines extending to over 25 global locations.
- Illumination Strategy: LED lighting was calibrated to enhance contrast between highlighted zones and surrounding geography, creating a dynamic focal point in low-light environments.
- Geographic Labeling: Key regions such as USA, China, South Africa, and Scandinavia were clearly marked, supporting visual storytelling and brand messaging.
- Framing & Mounting: The panel was housed in a slimline frame with concealed fixings, allowing seamless integration into architectural surfaces.
The Outcome
The final lightbox delivered a visually engaging and informative display that communicates global reach and strategic presence. The illuminated map serves as both a branding element and a conversation starter in high-traffic environments.
