We were commissioned to create a welcoming and visually engaging storefront for Happy Simit, a casual café with a cheerful brand identity. The client requested a vibrant awning and clear menu messaging to support walk-in traffic and online visibility.
Our goal was to deliver a signage system that would reflect the café’s personality and communicate its food offerings clearly to passers-by.
Our solution involved:
Awning Signage Design: We produced a bright orange awning featuring the café’s name “happy simit” in white lowercase letters, paired with a smiling face logo. The website address was included to support digital engagement.
Menu Strip Graphics: Below the main awning, we added a red-orange strip listing key menu items—PANINI, JACKET POTATOES, OMELETTE, SANDWICHES, COFFEE—in bold white text. This helped communicate the café’s offering at a glance.
Window & Pavement Integration: The glass entrance and windows were left clear to maintain interior visibility, while a chalkboard menu and outdoor seating created a casual, inviting atmosphere. All signage elements were colour-matched for brand consistency.
Installation Support: We coordinated with the venue team during setup, ensuring proper alignment and visibility from both pedestrian and street-level angles.
The Outcome
The final installation delivered a cheerful, branded storefront that increased visibility and supported Happy Simit’s casual dining concept. The combination of bold colours, friendly graphics, and clear menu messaging helped reinforce the café’s identity and attract daily foot traffic.
