We were commissioned by Safir Gold Ltd, a respected goldsmith in Brighton (trading as Sapphire Goldsmith), to create a classic and elegant projecting sign. The objective was to enhance their high street visibility in a style that reflected the quality and craftsmanship associated with a fine jewellery business, ensuring they stood out gracefully amongst neighbouring shops.
The Brief & Our Solution
The brief required a traditional shop sign with a premium feel, maximising visibility for pedestrians approaching from either direction. The design needed to be sophisticated, using classic typography and subtle decorative elements appropriate for a goldsmith.
Our solution involved:
- Classic Bespoke Design: We designed a square, double-sided blade sign encased in a traditional black frame. The elegant gold lettering for “SAFIR GOLD LTD” and the delicate scrollwork underneath were chosen to convey luxury and heritage. The contact email was included subtly at the bottom.
- High-Quality Materials: The sign was crafted using durable, weather-resistant materials with a high-quality finish. The gold lettering utilised premium vinyl or paint to ensure a sharp, long-lasting appearance that catches the light beautifully.
- Traditional Mounting: The sign was mounted using a classic, ornate metal bracket, complementing the traditional aesthetic and ensuring secure installation onto the building facade.
The Outcome
The resulting projecting sign provides Safir Gold Ltd with enhanced visibility and a distinguished presence. Its classic design perfectly suits the character of a Brighton jeweller, blending seamlessly with the local streetscape while effectively attracting customer attention.
